Privacy notice

None of our apps collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. What you put into an app stays on your iPhone. We cannot see it, and we could not hand it over if we were asked, because we never receive it.

Everything each app records is written to storage on your own device.

Utter List stores your lists, your Brain Dump notes and your settings on your device. It uses the microphone and speech recognition so you can add items by voice. Speech recognition is forced to run on-device, so your speech is not sent to Apple for processing and no recording is sent to us.

TabletMinder stores your medicines, your doses and the times you log them on your device. It schedules reminders locally on the device. Its medicines dictionary is bundled inside the app, so looking a medicine up does not contact anything.

JabBuddy stores your injection records, your schedules and your settings on your device, and schedules reminders locally. It can use the camera and your photo library if you choose to attach a picture to a record, and those pictures stay on your device. Some JabBuddy settings sync between your own devices using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, which is covered by Apple's privacy policy and is not visible to us.

SLA Uptime Calc stores your calculations and settings on your device. It does not ask for any personal information.

TabletMinder and JabBuddy hold information about your medicines and injections. Under UK data protection law that is health data, and it deserves particular care. It is held only on your device, under your control. It is never transmitted to us, and we have no way to read it. If you delete the app, or delete a record inside it, that information is gone.

Apps ask for a permission only when a feature needs it, and every permission can be refused or withdrawn later in the iOS Settings app. Refusing a permission disables the feature that needs it and nothing else.

If you have iCloud Backup switched on for your iPhone, your device backup may include the data an app has stored. That backup is between you and Apple. We have no access to it. You can control it in the iOS Settings app.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells us how many sales have been made, never who made them. We never see your name, your address or your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

The dailyworks.app website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or third-party tracking. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address making the request, in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We use Netlify's own analytics, which counts visits from those same server logs, so nothing is stored on your device and nothing follows you anywhere.

If you send us a message, we collect your name, your email address, the topic you choose and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. It is never added to a mailing list, never sold, and never passed to anyone else.

Your message is delivered to support@dailyworks.app by Web3Forms, a form delivery service that passes the message on for us and processes it on our behalf. It is not stored on this website. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest, specifically answering someone who has chosen to contact us.

We keep messages for as long as it takes to deal with what you asked, and up to twelve months afterwards in case you come back about the same thing, and then we delete them. If you would like your message deleted sooner, ask us at support@dailyworks.app and we will do it.

The DailyWorks podcast is hosted by Buzzsprout and distributed through Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other directories. If you listen through one of those, that listening happens on their platform and under their privacy policy, not ours. We receive download counts, which are not linked to identifiable people.

Data inside an app stays on your device for as long as you choose to keep it, and we never receive a copy. The only personal data we hold is what you send us through the contact form, covered above.

Our apps are not aimed at children, and they collect nothing from anyone, of any age.

Under UK data protection law you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to act on, but you are welcome to contact us at support@dailyworks.app and we will respond. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If an app starts doing something new with data, this notice changes before that release goes out, and the date at the top changes with it.
